         <title>Personal Definition of Worksite Wellness</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to the CDC, in order to be considered a best practice, a strategy should be “evidence-based; have high-quality evidence to support them; and demonstrate a positive impact in terms of effectiveness, reach, feasibility, sustainability, and transferability” (CDC, 2018). Therefore, workplace wellness that is supported by best practices will most likely have the greatest impact on the company and its employees. <br>My definition of best practices for workplace wellness would be “developing a culture of health and wellness created by methods of rigorous evaluation, in order to reach desired outcomes and improve the overall well-being of employees across all seven dimensions. <br><br>References<br>Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1.      How does working overnights affect employee overall well-being, and what can be done in the workplace to reduce these affects?</div><div>2.      Do people who work the night shift have more trouble achieving optimal health? What can organizations do to help reduce the risks that go along with working overnights and increase employee well-being?<br><br></div><div>Working the night shift is very common in health care workers, to help ensure proper patient care. However, these night shifts have been known to take a toll on the health of the employees who work them. According to Costa, working overnights can cause issues with circadian rhythms, work performance, social relationships, sleep habits, and eating habits. It can also cause long term effects such as gastrointestinal disorders, neuro-psychic anxiety, and cardiovascular issues (Costa, 1996). I would like to explore this topic further and figure out how organizations can influence employee well-being in the workplace in order to help negate these negative affects associated with working nights. <br><br></div><div>References<br>Costa, G.
