1) I think these paintings represent the beauty of nature and different cultures around the world. I am really impressed with the marvelous work you did. 2) Between all these paintings, I have felt a sense of calmness. 3) My favorite one is the drawing of the jungle with the hut, because despite it's "simplicity" (which for me is impossible) you still made it so calming and pleasent to watch. I also really like the detail on the water.

iI think these paintings are about Buddhism and nature, maybe all of them stand for a different thing. Or maybe just feelings and moments of the year or day.iiThese paintings give me a feeling of being free with no one to actually have to do something for just being free and maybe not happy about it. iiiThe one with the two tall elephants was the one that attracted me the most because of the strong orange background and the detail and contrast everything had. I also love the way it was laid out in a simple lonely way. Also if once you observe it it looks detailed and complicated at first it feels simple.

‪‪maddalena g8

1) I think that these paintings represent some kind of part or meaning referring or towards to a religion, one example which gave me a clear idea of this is the Buddha painting which for me really refers to a religion. 2) These painting evoke mainly peace and tranquility. Therefore they give me a relaxing feeling.3) The one of Buddha attracts me the most because of the blend and contrast of colours which are used, the colours are all really bright and appealing colours which immediately gain your attention. Additionally I also really like the type of green and the way that the green was used on the side of the screen to make leaves. Lastly I really enjoyed the type of pattern which was used on top of Buddha's head, it changes the main tone of colour by using a darker blue to give more contrast. Furthermore the pattern really matches the painting. Good Job, the use of colours was used in an amazing way to make sure that the audience's eyes would immediately go to the main point of each painting Omar Fratea G8

1) These artworks are based on buddhism. 2) The paintings evoke a mix of feelings inside of me, the rural area, or the village and the bhikkuni evoke inner peace, calmness, and lets me clear my thoughts, but the elephants let me feel, a sense of danger, or aggressivenes, especially the two elephants, as they look angered and look like they are about to attack the small house underneath them, the size of the elephants compared to the house helps as well as it makes the house seem very small. The background mountains help make the elephants seem even bigger in my opinion.

3) The most attractive is definetely the small house in the jungle for me it just makes me feel calm and feel peace, and that's just one of the feelings I really enjoy feeling once in a while.

Lastly I just want to say that you did a great job and I could never achieve this, so keep going and this for me is very impressive.

Tommaso Wu G8

I think these paintings are about India. All four of the paintings give me a feeling that the main theme is India. I get this thought because of the elephants and because of Buddha in one of the paintings.

These painting evoke a pensive state. I am thinking about what these paintings are trying to represent. The only single painting that i can recognize is the one with the tall elephants with long legs. The rest of them make me think a lot.

I like the most the painting with a lot of trees. I really like the simplicity but at the same time complicated style of the painting.

I think that these paintings are manly about nature since in almost all of them there is either drawn an animal or a landscape. I also think that these paintings are about nature since in the bottom left painting there are leaves in the actual painting. This paintings evoke in me a sense of relaxation but at the same time they make me wonder why did she decide to make this type of paintings and what her personal project is about. However I think that they are all beautiful in there own way and as soon as I saw the one painting that Anna put in the art exhibition I was immediately drawn. My favourite painting out of all of them will have to be the one on the bottom right. I like this painting because is both messy but really nicely drawn at the same time. I also prefer this one because it has a lot of shapes.

These can also represent endangered animals like the elephants since two of the 4 paintings depict these animals.

These paintings evoke in me feel calm and peaceful, like I'm in a quiet place. They also stand out (precisly the painting with the elephant)

I like the Buddha painting the most because of the bright colors used, especially the green for the leaves.

I think the paintings are about Indian culture where they talk about elephants, villages, and Buddhism. it makes me evokes many different feelings such as calmness in the Buddha and village paintings and makes me feel amazed by how beautiful the elephants are in the painting two elephants I think are not very possible to see in real life and the second one is like giving me the feeling a surge of motivation and it's like telling me to not give up. But what amazed me the most were the leaves because they are very beautiful also the visual effect that it game me with the colors around the figure like it's channeling its inner energy.

1) I think that these paintings are about the about the indian culture and how it can be expressed through art. I notice this as all the paintings contain a sense of nature and of wildlife for example the elephants in 2 of the paintings. For me this animal represents a symbol for the indian culture. the blue women figure reminds me of buddha so perhaps it has to buddhism, a god or a reference figure for a certain culture, or country.

2) this painting for me expresses a mood of motivation, relaxation and the beauty of nature. the evoke as well to me a tranquility and peaceful setting and feeling.

3) the one which attracts me the most is the one of the two elephants. This painting reminds me of the salvador dalì painting of the 2 elephants with long, thin legs. This one attracts me the most because of its beautiful sunset and the beauty of the 2 creatures. Also, i like the small house or cabin in the middle of the setting. This really caught my eye for the precision, details and the beauty of it.

1) In general, I think that these paintings are about religion and culture in East Asia. I think these paintings have connections to Buddhism and represent Buddhism. I think that the first painting is about two elephants towering over a small shack. In the background a red sunset falls. I think it represents the complexion and beauty of nature. I think that the second painting is about an island with lots of wildlife and greenery with 2 small mud shacks on it. I think it represents how humans have changed nature and the beauty of nature. I think that the third painting is about an elephant graffitied. It represents hope and resiliance. I think that the final painting represents peace and prosperity and to be one with nature.

2) These paintings make me feel calm and relaxed almost as if I am in a forest just enjoying the sounds, smells and senses of nature.

3) The first one attracts me the most because the sunset is blended well and the small details on the tall elephants are done well. Overrall, I like it the most because of the bright infared background contrasting to the grey elephants and the landscape below.

P1

I think that the painting on the top left shows a connection between two animals, and in specific two elephants. It could represent friendship and connection just like people, trying to evoke a sense of calmness and hope.

P2

I think that the second painting represents an Asian, probably Cambodian landscape, as the features and nature makes me infer this. It has a lot of green area and the brushwork has been done with a lot of care rendering the correct effect.

P3

I think that the bottom left painting offers a message of peace, I think it is a mixture of cultures.

P4

This painting evokes a feeling of tranquility and spirituality as it makes me remember the religion of Buddhism. I think it is well organised and also gives inner peace.

I think that the paintings are focused on Buddhism, I think that the elephant is part of the Buddhist culture and it represented 2 times. Then, the female figure on the bottom right makes me think she is a god of the religion, as all of the features make me think this. In conclusion, the Eastern Asian landscape makes me infer that most of the people that practise this religion come from Asia especially from the landscapes that are represented in the canvas.

They bring a sense of prosperity and freshness, something that contrasts our lives which are chaotic and stressful.

3)The one that attracts me the most is number one as it brings both abstract and concrete ideas together creating a fresh blend in what is reality and what is imagination. I love the predominant warm colors of the sunset and how you chose to depict the elephants with large legs. This painting as i said before mixes the idea of realism and imagination two things that are so important in our every day lives.

I think so because they all gave me the feeling and vibes of india as two of them have elephants as the main object, which for me rappresent india, and in an other one I can see the Buddha which is connected to buddhism. India also has buddhism as religion. in the last one remaining I feel that is represent somewhere in a calm place in india

2) what do these paintings evoke in you? (Feelings, emotions ...) -They all evoque to me a calm feeling. Personally, I think that india is one of the best places, also because I am really into buddhism and I think it is very beautiful.

I believe that these paintings represent a specific Hindu or Indian religion. These paintings evoke in me a sense of calmness, but the one on the bottom left evokes in me certain emotions that want in some way to provoke me and to take action. In addition, the colours of the paintings are peaceful and accurate to the figures. The painting I prefer is the one on the bottom left because it expresses a message as in the word there is, "HOPE" and it makes me want to explore and understand the message it wants to send.

1) I believe that these paintings represent nature in different kind of ways. For example, the paintings with the elephants evoke the loss of habitat and the risk of extinction. The reproduction of the island evokes some sense of nature and peace and a place where no one would be disturbed. As for the image of the female figure it gives me Buddhism-like sensations.

3) the most attractive painting in my opinion is the reproduction of the very green island because I enjoy the effect of the water reflection and how Anna has used different techniques with the brushes to create the bushes, the palm tree, the roof of the house made of bamboo or hay. Finally, I enjoy how there is lots of green all around a very small painting which shows how nature is still a very important aspect of our lives you can carefully notice that the island is that green because it seems to be an empty shelter and not a house.
