         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Both seem to fear the south and both seem to feel the need to leave.</p></li><li><p>Eddie left the south while Harry stayed behind. Harry also fought for the NAACP.</p></li><li><p>If I was in their situation, I would have left the south immediately. However, I do admire the bravery of Harry T. Moore to stay even with threats of death and worse for defending an innocent person. However, I would leave as that is a scary situation to be in.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>They were both similar because they both had the feeling to leave the south due to many acts of racism including lynching and segregation, but they were also different because Eddie actually left the south by secretly saving money to flee while Moore stayed back to fight against the cause for the NCAAP and if I were in their shoes I would rather take the safer option to save my money and flee out of the south than stay back to fight against it.</p>]]></description>

Something that made their experiences similar was that they had violent threats and were harmed by racism. </p></li><li><p>Eddie left the South to leave the dangerous and prejudiced life he was forced to live. While Harry stayed to advocate for civil rights by starting the NAACP instead of fleeing when things got really bad.</p></li><li><p>I agree more with Eddie on a human nature perspective. If I am constantly facing threats and abuse, I would want to leave the first chance I get. </p></li></ol>]]></description>
