Tariq was in a grocery store and he forgot his change so the cashier ran after him. Tariq thought it was something thing bad that so Tariq started fighting him. During the fight a friend of the cashier pulled up in the car. The cashiers friend came with his gun and ended up shooting Tariq twice. Tariq passed away and he ended affecting a lot of people with his killing.  Lots of people ended up coming together for a march for Tariq's killing.
My character shows my topic because he is African American and the killer is white.

There has been so many killings over racism. I think that this something big that happens all over the world. I think racism should be stopped in the world but I also don't think that it will ever come to an end
 Facts:
1. After being arrested, African-Americans are 33% more likely than whites to be detained while facing a felony trial in New York.
2. African Americans make up 57% of the people in state prisons for drug offenses.
