WE OPEN CENTRAL PARK, NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK. 2:30 PM, 85 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, SLIGHTLY BREEZY. TUESDAY.

Life is full of choices.

Some believe all choices are either correct or incorrect. I, as the narrator, do not. For example, some may say the correct way to cut a sandwich is in an X shape. Some may say it's a t shape. Some people also say the narrator addressing the audience directly in the Second Person point of view is an incorrect choice, but as I am addressing you now, we are closer. Friendly, yes? But enough about our options. Let's speak about someone who made the objectively right choice.

Kevin. Johnson

Kevin Johnson, a caucasian male is standing at exactly six feet, weighing 180 pounds. Nothing special stands out about him as he reads his newspaper on the park bench. He flips over the paper to look at the crossword answers. He frowns, at what we'll assume for now is an answer that didn't match his.
"Aw, goof," Kevin folds the paper up and places it in the back pocket of his jeans, then goes for a walk. Nothing special. You see, Kevin isn't anything special. Kevin is a normal person. Kevin tells the truth and doesn't assume there are right and wrong answers. Kevin is, by today's standards, a good individual.
As he continues down the sidewalk, Kevin runs into a homeless man. A sign is propped up next to him.

PLEASE DONATE MONEY
EX-ENC CORP EMPLOYEE

He puts a dollar in the homeless man's cup.
"Th-thank you!" The homeless man croaks out. Then, with the speed of a praying mantis, he grabs Kevin's hand, his nails digging into his flesh. He looks directly into Kevin's eyes, and his pupils shrink to pinpoints. He starts muttering in some sort of foreign languageKevin guesses, as blood drips from Kevin's hand where the homeless man's fingers pierced his skin.
"Spiritus antiquus invadit te. Vos liberat! MIRACULUM ES!"
"What the hell?!" Kevin yanks his hand away, leaving three long jagged marks along the back of his hand. He looks around, expecting a crowd to have formed from the small man's commotion, but nobody seems to be looking at him. He turns to look back at the small man.
"What did you say to-" Kevin stops. The homeless fellow is gone, leaving nothing but an empty pizza box and a plastic coffee cup with a handful of quarters.
