         <description><![CDATA[<div>Muybridge's first big step into stop motion was "The Horse in Motion" in 1878, which lead to the eventual creation of the first zoopraxiscope<br><br>The zoopraxiscope was created by Muybridge and Erwin. F. Faber in 1893 and this was the start of the growth in terms of stop motion animation. The creation involved a disc in the middle and images around the outside to display images moving when the different static images like in stop motion are used today when they are all moved together the illusion of something moving is created.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Muybridge's zoopraxiscope was the first of its kind when it was made in 1893, and since left a legacy for many great creators who used evolved and advanced models, for example Erwin. F. Faber, who was a big influence when creating the first zoopraxiscope made several further improved designs. It also went on to influence and inspire Thomas Edison and William Kennedy Dicksons Kinetoscope, which was the first commercial film exhibition system.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Muybridge created the zoopraxiscope, and therefore this in itself is a practical demonstration of persistence of vision, because it uses more than 10 images per second when spun correctly. It has even slits around the outside matching the individual images on the inside.</div>]]></description>
