Mollie is a character who wants to be loved, and thinks that being beautiful, and "bougie," will help her get the attention she craves. She probably loves ribbons, as they make her stand out, and give her the look of being put together. I think Mollie will later come to the realization, that there is more importance to the world than just material objects, and beauty.

Boxer is a big horse that is described as a enormous beast that is as strong as two normal horses and is not the smartest. "He had been a hard worker even in Jones’s time, but now he seemed more like three horses than one; there were days when the entire work of the farm seemed to rest on his mighty shoulders"(Orwell 45) this shows that Boxer is a very hardworking horse that helps the farm with his strength. "Their most faithful disciples were the two cart-horses, Boxer and Clover. These two had great difficulty in thinking anything out for themselves, but having once accepted the pigs as their teachers, they absorbed everything that they were told" (Orwell 37) this shows that boxer isn't very smart but still follows the teaching from the pigs without really thinking about what they teach him.

She is clearly proven to be naive as well as unintelligent.
"Boxer and Clover would harness themselves to the cutter or the horse-rake [...] with a pig walking behind and calling out 'Gee up, comrade!' or "Whoa back, comrade!'" (Orwell, 44).
Although Clover was called a "comrade" by the pigs, she wasn't actually "equal partners" as the pig following her would control her and her "speed" of walking.
Additionally, Clover is a follower and "disciple" in the farm because she adapts/ absorbs the ideas of the pigs as well as spreads the ideas. She doesn't come up with her own ideas, therefore making her a follower.

Squealer is somewhat individualistic, as he works to maintain his power that he which as a pig, which is that of a commander in animal farm. This can be seen in the apples and milk incident in which he explains how the pigs are commanders and that they are sacrificing themselves to eat the apples and milk (which some of the animals actually found delicious). He states ,"The whole management and organisation
of this farm depend on us. Day and night we are watch-
ing over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink
that milk and eat those apples" (Orwell 51). The quote shows how he states such and puts a focus on pigs, such as himself.

However, he is not completely individualistic, as he still asks for the other animals input on their view of Mr. Jones coming back. Squealer states, "“surely there is no one among
you who wants to see Jones come back" (Orwell 51)? The quote shows that he did in fact ask such.

Squealer is intelligent, as he is a brilliant talker. He is described by the other animals as being able to "turn black into white" (Orwell 36).

Squealer is not naive, as he makes sure his actions solely align with his benefit. An example of such being in the apples and milks incident, in which Squealer did not speak out irrationally, and spoke in the best way to maintain peace between animals.

Role in The Farm

Mr. Jones role was the oppressive and cruel dictator that was overthrown by the animals. Jones often whipped and heavily neglected the animals on the farm. In a revolution, all the animals of the farm rose up against him, drove him off the farm, and declared that all humans are bad.

His role after his fleeing could be seen to be an evil that the farm can unify against, providing propaganda for the pigs to be used whenever they are doubted. On page 52, Squealer says, "Do you know what would happen if we pigs failed in our duty? Jones would come back" (Orwell). This shows how The pigs use Mr. Jones as consequence of not obeying them, or in this case, not letting them take the apples and the milk for themselves.
