Learning how to save people's lives, First Aid and CPR, Oxygen Administration, Life Support Techniques, and being certified as not only a Lifeguard but also more exciting was - to also be awarded certification to be an Instructor Level 2 so I could train all the Waterpark staff. I was the only person in this Caribbean region licensed to so it was super!
