My favorite part of the book

It may be a bit cliché but my favorite part was actually the ending. Even though Mary lost her parents, never had friends nor joy in her life, she still gets a happy ending. But it's not just the friends, joy and The Secret Garden she gets. She learns something, something that she will never forget. She learns that being selfish doesn't help anyone especially not her. Life is short and you have to live it in the best way possible, by being kind. Mary realized the mistakes she made and improved her self in many ways. She learned to share, love and spread happiness wherever she appeared. Also I love the ending because it doesn't just tell the story about a little girl called Mary but also the unconditional love between a father and a son.

In my opinion the book is truly amazing but still there is something that I found a bit boring while reading it. Honestly I love how the book was written and how the characters are described being different from anybody else but in the end changing a bit in a good way. Still there are two characters who's more detailed description I missed and those two characters are Mary's parents. They most certainly are described in the book but still it seems like the beginning just needs something to make it spectacular and in my opinion that would be a psychological description of her parents or maybe something else. Otherwise the book is great and I would most certainly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the beauty of life which lies in The Secret Garden.

My opinion on the book

The Secret Garden is a truly fascinating book which shows that everybody has some good in them and can always change for the better. Sometimes in life you will fall a few times. You will feel lonely, scared and disappointed. That will probably change the way you are. But you need to remember that we, people only have a single opportunity to become who we truly aspire to be and we have to do it the right way. Being selfish, rude and depressed will get us nowhere. We simply have to keep going on by being nice to people and maybe even making new friends who will make this journey a lot easier and more fun. In my opinion that is actually the point of the book. Be kind, good and never give up. Help others and with that help yourself by being a kind person. I love that the book uses The Secret Garden as a synonym for unselfishness and kindness. The Secret Garden tries to say that you have one life to make things right and the best way to that is by being kind, loving and respectful for the people and nature that surround you. That is the true reason why I love this book.
