I am Irene from the United States and Minneapolis, Minnesota in particular. I work with graduate student working on their PhD in Education and undergraduate students who are interested in exploring international ideas in their undergraduate curriculum. The student majors vary each fall. We, the undergraduates and I, will be also be exploring ideas of social justice for persons living with disabilities. The premise that we people experience a disability because society has not be designed to be inclusive of all people but privileges some abilities over other abilities.

Space for presenting background information on ones city, country

Would students like to put together a introductory slideshow/movie on their country, city, or campus so that students from other countries get a little insight into life in the country which may be different than what is covered by media. It could be the start of raising questions for further discussion.
