It's been a few years since I did a fluency subject, but one thing stuck in my mind as a particularly generous teaching moment. You asked what we should do if fluency scores were not improving as expected and several strategies were offered. The final one was to contact you, even after we graduated.

I will never forget your kindness and wisdom as a student. I remember Kate D and I walking through the glorious Campus as second years. This was during COVID and we chose to come to res school. You recognised us immediately and I look back with such great fondness on my days as a student at CSU. They were the best days. I sing the praises of CSU to all and I must say I get a bit nervous each time I get a fluency student with Education Queensland. I think I need you on ‘speed dial’ but seriously Thankyou and you I will always remember CSU as a very special time in my life.I hope to come back and do some more study once I have a few years experience
