Dora Romero was born on October 21st in Divisaderos, a small town in Sonora, Mexico. She was the seventh child in a big family with 10 siblings. Almost all her life was spent in Divisaderos, where she attended school in the mornings, afternoons, and even Saturdays. Her parents had lived in this town forever, but later they moved the family to Hermosillo, hoping for better opportunities. However, my aunt eventually returned to her hometown. In Divisaderos, she found love, built her life, and later raised her three children. She worked in the government department of Divisaderos for many years. She has had a very close relationship with God since childhood. She loves singing, enjoys dancing, and serving God.

Childhood

Her childhood was spent in Divisaderos, where she went to school and developed many important skills at a very young age. She learned how to cook and take on responsibilities early on, and by the age of ten, she was already known for making delicious flour tortillas, taught by her mother. People were often surprised at how talented and mature she was for her age. Life, however, was not always easy. She recalls that during her childhood, they had to fetch water from wells and carry it in buckets for drinking, bathing, and other daily needs until potable water finally reached the town. Electricity was also unreliable; sometimes light would go out, and they had to adapt living with very little.
