I was born and raised a Northwest Arkansan; my entire life, my parents, my two brothers, and I lived in Gentry, AR. We often swam and fished Flint Creek, walked the railroad tracks to my cousin's house, and had Nerf wars. Although it may have been crazy at times, I look back fondly on my childhood and am thankful that my brothers and I are still so close to this day.

I attended both Ozark Adventist School and Ozark Adventist Academy before heading to the University of Arkansas. Now I am a Senior in Mathematics and STEM Education. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the University of Arkansas and have been blessed with only the best of professors. These professors often remind me of why I want to teach - I want to help.

Occupation

Currently, I am working two jobs. First, I am a Lead Tutor at the Student Success Center. I have worked there for a year now, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Helping and meeting new people daily keeps me on my toes! Second, I am a camp facilitator for the University's College of Engineering Summer Camp program. This is my first time at this camp but my fourth year working at summer camps. Summer camp has played a large role in my life, and I am glad I can return the favor to this next generation.

A year from now, however, I see myself teaching 7th-grade math somewhere in Northwest Arkansas!
