         <description><![CDATA[<p>Higher rates of reported mental illness may stem from better recognition and diagnosis rather than an actual increase in mental illness. Additionally  parents restricting independent play is due to changing cultural norms, not just smartphones, and crime rates have steadily declined, making the world objectively safer.</p><p><br></p><p>Smartphones and social media are tools that can be used for both positive and negative outcomes, the mental health crisis is complex and cannot be fully attributed to a single factor. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>
