hello everyone and assalamualaikum. My name is Nur Fathin Nadhirah binti Muhd Aliff. I would like to talk about social media has changed us to the worse.

For many years, social media plays a major part in our life. There are many social sites nowadays that are most popular such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. People usually use this type of social site to expand their business, contact with old friends and share some important information. However, some people use social media to gain attention and become more popular even though they are not celebrities. As we know, social media has gave us some benefits but nowadays, it has changed us to the worse. There are three main point that can support my opinion about the negative impact of social media. These are lack of privacy, addiction of social media and easily expose to the kids.

Firstly, social media is lack of privacy because its encourage people to share many information to public especially about personal life. They can share what they are doing, where they are going and who they are meeting to everyone even though they are strangers. It is really dangerous especially violence can happen anywhere. Furthermore, even with tight personal security settings can be leak on social media. For example, the stranger can easily downloaded your photos and videos with just a few click.

Secondly, addiction towards social media. As we know, some people are spending countless hours on social media. The attraction of social media is people want to know more and more about any issues they are interest whether it is good or not. They will jump from this social site to another social site to get more information towards the issues. As a result, people will forget about other important task they need to do.

Lastly, social media give negative impact towards kids. As we know, social media is a platform that is easily to share anything. In this case, sometimes the adults share photos on social media that contain violence and sex. it is really not good and which can damage behaviour of the kids. The kids are naturally follow what they see. To avoid this, the parents should play a role in control their kids especially when the kids use the gadgets.

As a conclusion, I strongly agree that social media give a lot of negative impact because lack of privacy, make people addicted to it and easily exposed to the kids. Things need to change. There needs more restrictions blocking access to inappropriate site. The people also need to more responsible in anything they do and they should stop share too much of their personal life so that we create harmony to our world especially for our future generations.
