Formative:
Students explore and experiment on either the topic, medium, concept or technique introduced in previous demonstrations / provocations. I, as the teacher, monitor progress, spot difficulties, give feedback / feed-forward, assist, guide, as well as work on a one-on-one basis whenever applicable, during the process.

Optional: This can be done in a form of a peer assessment.

Summative:
This is not always done, but whenever I find that a class is performing well or even accelerating, I will challenge the students by giving them an evaluation which involves all skills and knowledge learned within 5-6 weeks of learning. I usually decide to do this based on the results of the series of formatives I give them previously.

At times, when it is suitable, a summative test can be done as an individual or group project.

Reflection can be done after this.
