On the backside of the worksheet we worked on a scavenger hunt where you got to talk to people in your class. Winner gets a prize!

You then had time to finish up your rocketship as well as work on some other fun activities.

Tomorrow you will have the entire class period to finish this assignment.

If you did not turn it in today, your rubric with your One Pager is due on Friday, and you will not have more class time to work on it.

You also picked a number on the Safety Contract and started a Lab Safety Poster based off it. We will continue working on this on Monday.

You then set up page 5 in our notebook with questions you need to answer while watching the Generation Genius video on Moon Phases.

Lastly, you worked on finishing up the Cosmic Phenomenon Worksheet packet, which we will glue into page 6 of our notebook tomorrow.

We then started Amplify Lesson 1.2 and worked on answering Activity 1 and 3 questions in the workbook using the simulation online.

We also created a Moon Model using Moon Spheres and "acting" as Earths. If you were absent and would like to try this activity, please let me know!

If you did not work on Quiz Corrections you needed to read/annotate pages E1-E2 article and answer questions on page 30 in your workbook.

Finally, you were assigned a piece of evidence (Student #1, #2, or #3) from pages 39-41, and you needed to read/annotate, and answer the question in complete sentences using the vocabulary. Then you needed to fill out the rest of the pieces of evidence to finally have all pages 39-41 filled out. If you were absent you are responsible for finishing all 3 pages.

Then we worked on Test Corrections, which are due tomorrow. We also worked on missing assignments/fixing grades.

Lastly if you were done you were working on workbook Article pages E1-E2 and answering the questions on page 30.

You also worked on the Seek and Find: Planet Earth worksheet. Follow the instructions in the slideshow - this is due on MONDAY!

We then worked on Lesson 2.6 - Critical Juncture Assessment. Please make sure to have this done.

Lastly, you had time to work on the Seek and Find, which was due today and you also worked on it on Friday.

Lastly, if you did not have time to finish in class, you will have homework, which will be on the next post.

Then you received your new Evolutionary History Amplify workbook and worked on reading and annotating the article on page A1-A2 and then answering the questions on page 8. We will be gluing this into our notebook this week.

After you finish the article, you will be working online on Amplify Lesson 2.6 in the Evolutionary History unit—Critical Juncture. Be sure to try your best and answer ALL the questions. DO NOT Google answers. You will get full credit just for trying your best and a ZERO if you cheat.

If you are absent today, you must find a day to take the test after school next week.

You also worked on the "Rough-Skinned Newt" Article on page A1 and answered questions on page 9 in your workbook.

Then you worked on Lesson 1.2 Warm Up (wkbk pg. 6) and Activity 2 (wkbk pg 7).

If you did not finish page 7, I will be posting the pictures of the butterflies so you can finish drawing/making observations for the one you received.

Afterwards, we explored microscope slides using a virtual microscope lab and filled out the Virtual Microscope worksheet. You will have a little more time to finish the worksheet and glue it into your notebook tomorrow.

Then we watched a video introducing us to Cell Organelles, and then took some notes that will help us when we start tomorrow's Cell Analogy project! We will finish the notes tomorrow.

Afterward, you started planning your Animal Cell Analogy Project on the blue worksheet you received. It would be best if you were working on brainstorming today, and starting your poster on Monday. It will be due next Friday, but we will NOT be working on it in class all week!

Then we worked on Lesson 1.3 Activity 1, 2, and 3 (Workbook pages 12 and 13). Tomorrow we will finish Lesson 1.3 and glue it into our notebook.

Then you spent the rest of the period working on the Peppered Moth Worksheet. Make sure you complete this and turn it in.

We then discussed genes and the importance of them and how they can affect someone's life by watching a documentary and answering questions in your notebook page 57. Check slideshow for questions and Notebook Setup.

If you finish early, stay in your seat and work on something productive quietly.

If you finished the LEGO gene you started working on the worksheet titled "Connecting DNA to Natural Selection" independently. This worksheet is due on Tuesday.

Lastly you received the Study Guide for Friday's test. It is strongly suggested you complete and understand it.

We also did a Blooket in class to help prepare for tomorrow's test. Be sure to finish the study guide and study!

If you finished that on Friday, you worked on Lesson 1.1, the Pre-Unit Assessment for the new unit, Force and Motion online. You will only receive full credit on this assignment if you put in your best effort and do not cheat. If you did not finish this in class it is homework due by Friday.

Lastly, you worked on getting Activity 4 done (wkbk pg. A1-A2 and pg. 19) by reading/annotating the article(pg. A1-A2), and answering the questions(pg 19).

Then you moved on to taking notes on Newton's Laws of Motion. First, you watched an introduction video, then watched 3 separate videos on each law and took notes in pages 69 and 70 in your notebook.

Tomorrow you will have a mini quiz on this, as well as a Workbook Check.

Then you took the Mini Quiz on Newton's Laws.

Lastly, you worked on Lesson 2.,4 Critical Juncture, which might help you if you did not turn in or did poorly on Lesson 1.1, Pre-Unit Assessment. If you are absent today, it will be excused, and it will not affect your grade.

Then you moved on to working on Activity 4 (wkbk pg. 64) by using the simulation to help you answer the question.

Lastly you started on your Collisions Mini Poster by brainstorming ideas in your notebook (notebook pg. 74)
