This is just additional info about me, but I was born on 10th of October 2005, the eldest out of three siblings: a younger sister and a younger brother. My hobby is reading online novels and colouring. My favourite colour is purple and lilac💜🪻.

Also first time going to Kenms. Afraid that we might stop at the wrong bus stop, me and my friend, Iman didn't took the bus, instead we ordered transport💸

Then you know what, after the class ended, me, Iman, and our new friend/classmate, Ira went back to our dorm by FOOT. Don't ask me why, even I'm not sure how to answer that. Well, the good thing is, the three of us get to share stories about each other, soo yeah bonding time for us☺️

Btw, just want to share how I met one of my groupmate, and it happened after the class/usrah ends, and I was just trying my luck by asking another groupmate of mine, Iman; who else in our group? Then I said her name out loud in the elevator (i won't say her name here, in case she's shy). Then there's a voice coming from right behind me saying; it's me. I was like, What?! 🤣🤣 Alhamdulillah later I got her number and add her to our whatsApp group. The End~~

So here's a little about today's topics;

Ihsan🌼: doing good deeds as if Allah's looking at you, even if you can't see him, because He see you (this have been mentioned in Hadith Jibril too!)

Eschatology: Concerning the Day of Judgement, that is the end of the world, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind, whether ending up in the hellfire, or in paradise. May Allah grant us a place in Jannah, and saves us from the punishment in the hellfire🤲🏻🤲🏻

New knowledge unlocked: أدب المرء خير من ذهبه (A person's manners are better than his gold)

As Allah mentioned in the Qur'an surah Al-Baqarah, verse 183:

[O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may attain taqwa]

That is to say, those who fast sincerely for the sake of Allah, are promised His Mercy, as attaining Taqwa is one of Allah's greatest mercy, which through it a person earns His forgiveness and Jannah.

In addition, fasting or the act of abstaining from food, drink, and desires are able to teach empathy in a person's heart, in which help us feel, empathise, and reflect upon ourselves the suffering of the poor and needy, leading to acts of kindness and charity. These acts can purify the heart of arrogance, selfishness and hardness.

Last but not least, the act of Fasting can also bring Rahmah on the Day of Judgement, in other words, the Fast itself will intercede for the believer on the Day of Judgement, seeking Allah's mercy and entry into Jannah for the believer.

This topic was chosen as our Role-Play topic, in which taught me and groupmate various knowledge from the importance of Fasting itself and the benefit that comes with it. Alhamdulillah.

The pillars of Iman and the pillars of Islam, is the most important thing to know, as it act as the foundation of our faith as a Muslim, while core values in our daily life include patience, tawakkal, and empathy strengthen the faith, as patience and trust in Allah can increse our reliance on Him, thus keeping our heart firm on our belief. What's more, the Qur'an and Sunnah also emphasize on developing good character (Akhlaq) as it is also a part of faith.

To be a good muslim, what I can conclude is, first and foremost, is to have a strong faith, as it is the root or foundation, which in turn naturally sprout the act of worship (Ibadah) in a person. In other words, a person who has a firm belief that Allah is the only one and true God, and the last prophet is the prophet Muhammad SAW, will naturally show the evidence of his strong belief through his act of worship (Ibadah), means through Salah, Fasting, and Zakah.

This act of worship act as the trunk and braches that grows from the root which is our Iman. Finally, from the branches, sprout leaves and flowers, which is Akhlaq, good characteristics that shows the reflection of one's Iman (faith) and Islam (practice). It is shown through a person's actions, speech, and their way of dealings with others.

The experiences that I got from Usrah 1 and Usrah 2 has taught me invaluable knowledge on how to be a better Muslim. I can't express enough of how grateful I am for getting the chances to learn more about my Deen. May Allah bless us with strong faith, sincere worship, and good character, and grant us a place in Jannah in the Hereafter, Ameen🤲🏻
