My name is Audra Harl. I am from Newman, CA. I was raised in town, but started showing rabbits in 4-H when I was 13. I showed goats and cattle in college, and attended Merced College for my A.S. I transferred to Chico State, and after earning my B.S. in Animal Science I attended Kansas State University for my M.S. After KS I went to Virginia Tech for my Ph.D. I have worked with all sorts of livestock, but sheep are my favorite (goats are a close second)! I have a zoo of animals, but I love my dogs.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you this semester, and learning about agriculture!

I am excited to gain knowledge about agriculture on Earth so I can build farms on Mars to feed my grandchildren after the Earthocalypse - or at least be able to help the environment here by participating in and encouraging worldwide sustainable agriculture. I was raised on a cattle farm outside of Cottonwood, and I love horses and the smell of hay in the morning.

Shalom yall 😁 I am from Washington and 33 years young. I have been traveling for the last few years in my 74 vw kombi camper van. The van was originally my grandpa's and before he passed away he left it to me. I saved up for 2 years and rebuilt it. She now has a Porsche 914 with dual webber carbs, rebuilding her was the first big goal I ever met. Before hitting the road I had a 3 bed room house. I gave all of my belongings away to people in need with the goal of spending time with homeless people specifically aimed at feeding them. I happen to know my way around a kitchen quite well so it was important to me to be able to feed fellow humans who are down on their luck with some organic good food home cooked with lots of love. I landed in this area of California about 6 months ago, and love it here. I am considering buying a piece of land in this area where I can build myself the homesteading lifestyle. Ideally my long term goal is to be able to live completely off of the land. My reason for it is it pains me to look at the world around me and see what were doing to each other. We have far more potential than we choose to utilize and I'd just prefer to go live in the woods and mind my own business. Before I can do that I need to have the education behind the goal so I dont just tap dance on out into the woods setting myself up for failure.
I have no children but I do have a 7 year old 5lb pomchi named Muffin. She is the sweetest lil pea pod that ever did exist. I am also married to my high school sweetheart. We met when I was 14 years old and he was 15 years old. He is currently taking the welding course here at Shasta college.

My favorite animal is the alpaca
