The positive impact of apps in the learning process

Digital inventions have transformed how most things are done in schools nowadays. In the past, access to education was not as easy as it is thanks to mobile apps today - now you can read an e-book or an e-journal in the comfort of your house or during your daily commute or even buy thesis papers online. The only challenge is that you have to look for the best apps since not every app is useful; but if you get a good one, kids will love it because digital content is attractive, well structured and easier to use.

The following are some of the benefits of integrating mobile apps into school education:

(1) Increases number of interaction

Some apps have test questions which kids can use for revisions and check if they have answered them correctly. Other mobile programs enable students to discuss and share learning materials with their peers thereby boosting interactions. Students can also ask for assistance from their teachers using an app when they experience difficulties.

(2) Improved reading process

Nothing can be as boring as holding a book upright for hours to read. No wonder some get bored and doze off. This usually happens when one keeps a book in the same position for long hours while reading, but things are different when it comes to mobile apps as contents are formatted in a way that makes children find them attractive. Some of the apps incorporate puzzles and memory games into the reading process. This way, reading becomes entertaining and more engaging, so kids can literary spend long hours not just reading, but analyzing and learning from the stories.

(3) Apps have fostered teacher-parents interactions

In the past, parents were accused of neglecting their duties as some would rarely visit schools to know their kids’ progress. They would just prepare their kids for school and leave the rest to the teachers. They would never even bother to ask how their kids were doing. But things have changed since the mobile applications allowed parents to engage with teachers and teachers can now easily get in touch with any parent if there are issues concerning the kids.

(4) Quick access to online learning resources

Before digitization of learning materials, most contents were in the form of hardcover books meaning you had to purchase a book or a journal if you needed one, but nowadays you don’t have to do that as colleges have e-libraries where students can access them remotely. If you don’t get what you are looking for, you can try searching in other educational sites.

(5) Learning apps both teach and entertain kids

Through educative games, children are able to have fun and learn at the same time, unlike when reading the paper materials where there are no interactions. Some lessons are structured in the form of games and have score levels which learners have to attain to move to other levels - something that makes kids work harder but in a fun way thereby enhancing their learning process.

(6) Apps are available for use 24/7

Unlike in a physical classroom where kids must attend lessons from Monday to Friday, a mobile app has no time limit. In fact, you can access it anytime and any day you want. For this reason, you do not have to worry about your daily plans as you can reschedule your activities. This allows flexibility that cannot be achieved by other learning methods.

(7) It is a productive way of spending free time

As they say, an idle mind is a workshop of the devil. Thus, if you don’t keep your children busy, then you will have to keep monitoring them but why waste your time while you can just give them a mobile device to play with? You can give them a mind game to play and promise a reward if they score high. It is a nice way of killing time while still learning something new or perfecting their existing skills.

(8) Apps have simplified tasks

Apps have revolutionized the way things are done in schools. If you look at some schools, kids are registered online via mobile apps which allows them, among all the other options, submit assignments to their tutors. Even school fees nowadays can be paid via mobile programs as some schools have integrated payment systems, so there is no need to wait in a long line in the bank.

Do you love writing and/or posting anything on the internet? Can you read an article and spot grammatical errors or spelling mistakes? If yes, then you can make a career out of it.

In the past, people believed that writing was for poets and novelists, but this is no longer the case as people are making money through blogging and freelance. Virtually every profession involves making reports hence writing proficiency is required.

The following are some of those professions:

(a) Academic writing

If you have excellent skills, then you do not need a 9 to 5 job as you can work from the comfort of your home by working for educational writing service companies. They aim at crafting assignments for students as well as guide those who have difficulties in completing theirs on their own.

Some of these services are doing essays, dissertations, research papers, term papers, etc. Only here you can buy college essay online and many proficient writers are hired as inexperienced persons produce low quality work which in turn attract low marks. So, if you are experienced, you can try this company.(b) Web writing

Due to increased internet access in most parts of the world, the demand for websites has grown and so has the demand for web content. For sites to be indexed on search engines, they must have enough and relevant content, and for them to appear at the top of search pages, content must be well optimized. To do this, you must hire experts who will be supplying you with optimized content on a regular basis.

There is also another version of web content creation job known as blogging where products are posted online and depending on views they attract; they earn money which is part of search engine advertising campaign programs.

(c) Managing social media accounts

Companies have realized the advertising potential of social media which has led to the majority of firms taking their operations online on social media platforms to increase their visibility. To this end, they have created official accounts and engage their clients there, post news and information concerning their products.

To effectively manage those sites, a dedicated social media manager is required who must be someone capable of engaging clients effectively. In fact, this is one of the best jobs students can apply for as they can study and work at the same time as long as they stay online.

(d) Proposals writer

Some firms and mostly marketing and consultancy firms have a person whose work is crafting proposals seeking partnerships with other business establishments. Even other organizations especially those that depend on donor funding send proposals to donors for approval.

No shoddily done proposal can attract funding thus a proposal must be sensible, accurate and easy to understand. If you believe that you have it takes to do this job, then you can apply for such a post.

(e) Journalism

The work of a journalist is covering events for the media. Besides, recording events with cameras, they convert the same into textual contents for posting on their websites and publishing on their print media.

To do this, you must have impeccable writing skills without which you cannot work effectively. Ordinarily, all articles published in magazines and newspapers are crafted by journalists but must be fine-tuned by editors.

At times, printed information is also posted on social media pages where articles are critiqued by readers. You must have seen what happens when a poorly done article is published there!

(f) Editing

If you can create good articles, then you can as well become an editor or a proofreader. Even if you compose an article yourself, there is a high chance that you will not be able to detect typos or any other errors. It takes a competent editor to see them.

If you are interested in this job, you can get it mostly in broadcasting, publishing, and essay writing companies and to qualify as an editor, you can study journalism or get a Bachelor of Arts in communications.

The above are some of the professions where writing skills are required. There are several others that have not been included here but still require some form of reporting and creative thinking.
