Ready Player One is about a dystopian future where our world has become overpopulated. This causes people to escape to an online video game called The OASIS. I have been thinkin about this a lot recently and it seems like a very real and possible outcome for our world if we don't try to change some things like climate change. I usually like to read books that I know I like or have already read, but this is a book that Elyse let me read and I found myself not being able to put it down. This book is about an Author who accepts a contract to finish a book series as the women who is writing them is sick. As she's doing research on her she uncovers many dark secrets of the woman. I'm only a couple chapters into this book and I look forward to finishing it. This is my favorite book and I am re-reading it in attempts to annotate. When I first read this book I was confused on the message of miscommunication and didn't like the book much as a result. Upon further inspection this book is more about class and how it forms you as a person. Sally Rooney is a very Marxist writer and likes to talk about class through sex.
