I can see a sin and grace of reconciliation as a firefighter putting out fire. The sin is the fire, it is destructive, it causes ruin and it is the thing we want to remove. The firefighter is like when Jesus sacrificed, just like Jesus, the firefighter is fighting the danger spreading around, while also risking his life, the firefighter uses a fire extinguisher, symbolizing the grace of reconciliation, it makes the fire/sin disappear, just like how our sins can be removed when forgiving and confessing to God .

Even if we've been damaged or covered in dirt, he'll still come and collect us.

Grace – In Christianity, the cross is frequently viewed as a representation of God's grace. The idea of grace refers to God's undeserved favor and forgiveness of humanity in spite of our sins and flaws. It is believed that via Jesus Christ's death on the cross, humanity can find forgiveness and peace with God.
Sin - The cross also represents the understanding of human depravity and the requirement for atonement. The cross serves as a symbol of the penalties of sin and the cost of redemption in Christian theology, because sin is seen to be a separation from God.

Therefore, the Christian cross is a powerful symbol that encapsulates both the concept of grace (forgiveness and reconciliation with God) and the concept of sin (the need for redemption and reconciliation).

My symbol signifies sin as the wound, and the grace of reconciliation as the bandage or treatment. I relate sin as a wound, because like sin, a wound causes pain and harm that causes us to become not pure and healthy, which ultimately damages our body. Like sin, it harms or damages our relationship with God that makes us distant from God. The bandage symbolizes the grace of reconciliation since it heals our wounds that helps us become healthy and stronger again. And like the grace of reconciliation, it heals our sins and restores our relationship with God and makes us become pure again.

The symbol of a serpent being stepped on represents sin and the grace of reconciliation in Christianity. In the Bible, a serpent tempted Adam and Eve to disobey God's command, introducing sin into the world. The serpent getting stepped on symbolizes the defeat of sin, showing that it should no longer have power over us. It signifies that through Jesus Christ, who conquered sin through His sacrifice, there's hope for forgiveness and reconciliation with God. So, this simple symbol reminds Christians that despite our mistakes, we can find redemption and a renewed connection with God through His grace.
