I find this surprising because in my opinion cocroaches are gross and should be killed immediately when seen. I also think it was right for the girl to smash Gaston. UPDATE: I just realized Gaston is also a living creature the father was right and the girl shouldn’t have smashed gaston. Also, I am surprised that when just one phone call from her mom made her change her mind so quickly to squash Gaston.

What i thought was most confusing was the girls behavior being influenced so quickly when her father found Gaston the girl wanted to squash him. But his father said no and explained that Gaston is living and needs a knew how then all of a sudden the girl wants a bad peach with a bug in it. Her father went to go get a bad peach but her mother said she has to squash Gaston so she does after when her father returns she feels him she squashed Gaston and doesn’t want it anymore and is leaving and not coming back and her dad is fine with it.
