Cooking more home meals would be really comforting regarding the fact I am very homesick, fortunately I have my uncle and friends who really enjoy cooking and have given a hand to help me achieve a better healthier lifestyle.

Continuing I want to be able to spend time independently without feeling alone since I've been very dependent on my friends here at London.

Tate Modern is a lovely museum, the artworks were very modern and conceptual which is something I want to embed more into my work. Despite modern art being quite minimal and simplistic it creates lots of interesting ideas for visitors to imagine and understand. Sometimes very little can often spark more thoughts.

I wanted to visit museums with less fashion incorporated into it, this is because I often find myself only visiting and gaining inspirations from other designers silhouettes but forgetting that my own research and ideas are far more valuable and important. The museum brought me lots of inspirations of textiles, colours and shapes which I want to bring into further projects. Moving on I will further visit more art museums here in London to gain more inspirations from art itself.

Studying fashion design so far has been quite challenging for me, my skills are very limited sewing wise. I am quite an inpatient person and this has been shown through pieces in my white project. I felt like my skills pushed me back from creating pieces I wanted to produce.

I learnt a lot in the atelier class although I find it very intimidating to learn with so many talented people surrounding me, I was very behind and would mess up many of the tutorials they taught us. Sometimes I would dread going to the manufacturing classes because of my skill sets. Though being around lots of talented people have made me want to become a lot better and therefore pushed me to start getting tutored outside of class.

I wanted to improve so therefore I asked my friend kindly if she could help tutor me and teach me some sewing skills. She was able to teach me a lot in a pace and environment that was comfortable for me. We made shorts that I design for my white project, I was unable to take photos during the class since my phone died🥲.

I have also learnt how to make more traditional food while visiting home and brought those skills to London. This made me miss home but also brought me a lot of comfort.

I've also drastically reduced my spending and made food equally as good and a lot healthier!
