No screens, radio, TV, nothing. I haven't gone 24 hours without technology for quite a long time. I'm a very anxious person so I definitely expect to be very anxious, bored, and antsy. Should be fun... I am in constant contact with my friends and always have something to give my attention to so it'll be weird going without that. I will definitely feel more naked without and it and I'm curious if it will make me more or less productive. I felt very naked the whole time and it made me very antsy to not be able to be in easy contact with my friends or family. My coworkers were on their phones the whole time I worked which did not help. I feel like I actually might've been less productive than if I had been able to freely use my phone. It serves as a sort of reward and I've heard that breaks can make people more efficient so perhaps it was a similar effect. All in all, I would be able to do it again, but I don't really feel any life changing differences. It just sort of felt inconvenient. To be honest, it made me think more so that the whole "technology is ruining humanity" is just paranoid mumbo jumbo. Even the slight amount of variation present was a little unexpected. It was difficult scrounging for 25 replies but the results are seen below in the infographic. I boiled the survey down to 5 questions and condensed the responses into the stats seen below. The infographic was actually a little fun to make. I can definitely see why these are popular in the professional world given their stimulating ways of presenting their information.
