  • Use of dollars for positive behavior
  • Will not take away dollars, instead we will reinforce positive behaviors of other students or explain that if the student performed the desired behavior, they would be able to earn a dollar. 
  • Ways to earn dollars:
  • Staying on task, completing work, participating in positive behaviors
  • Rewards:
  • $100 - Pie teacher in the face
  • $80- $5 gift card to a choice of:  (mcdonalds, dairy queen, wendy’s, walmart) 
  • $50- Choice of item from gift basket 
  • $40- Lunch with preferred adult
  • $30- Free period
  • $20- iPad time
  • $15- Sensory time (swing, trampoline, play dough, legos)
  • $10- 5 minute break, snack (limit one per day)

  • Ignoring problem behavior, redirection, rewarding positive behaviors from other students, telling them they won’t earn additional dollars

    - The back corner is used for bathroom routines and toileting needs
    - There will be a changing spot that can go up/down when needed
    - Feeding would be in the opposite corner
    - There is a curtain for privacy and can be used for some extra storage
    - we have desks for the main teaching instruction
    - The desks will have separate chairs so, if a student is in a  wheelchair the chair can be used or not used
    - There is a smart board for the main teaching instruction
    - The one on one instruction has book shelves to hold books and other materials relating to small lessons
    - semi-circle table so the teacher is at the center, right by the board
       -There is a whiteboard/chalkboard behind the teacher
    *All the seating will be wheelchair accessible and can have different seating for students if needed
    - There is a full kitchen area with a stove, refrigerator, stove and microwave
    - By the door will be the visual schedules for the students to look at as soon as they come through the door
