Travis-  Desertification has been stopping people from getting food. Desertification can also cause contamination to water. I wish I knew some ways people are helping with stopping desertification

Pike- When trees get cut down carbon dioxide gets released, and causes acid rain. Causes water to be undrinkable from the sediments. I wish I knew how people live. 

Julia- Deforestation can be caused because humans are greedy and want those good trees. Animals lose their homes from deforestation. I wish I could have examples of people helping with the problem.

And the biggest impact on deforestation is lost of habitat.  I am curios about how deforestation is going to affect all the other forest in the future. Is it going to destroy everything or is it going to get better because of all the new technology.

Logan's station: Two things I learned was deforestation can be caused by multitude of things. And The reason why the cut down trees is because we cut them for soybeans, more building areas, mining, livestock fuel, and more. One thing I am curios is how we can stop deforestation.   

Kamryn's Station: I learned that roads are adding more lanes to drive in to "help" but really it isn't because it's basically causing more car crashes. And more pollution will be caused because of a ll the road work. I am curios if we keep adding more roads, what is going to happen in the future.

Lucas's Station: An affect of deforestation is the lost of animal, insect, and plant habitats. Deforestation is when an area of tress is cleared. And one thing I am curios about is deforestation in Brazil.

Amy"s Station: Deforestation can help citizens live better  but only for a short period of time. When trees are cut down it is releasing carbon dioxide. The thing I am curios about is if or new generation is going to keep coming out with new technology, is it going to have a good impact on the releasing of carbon dioxide.

Peter's Station: Not many tress can grow and it use to be a desert. The sand isn't a good place for these animals to live at. I am curious about the where these animals are now going to live.   

Travis's Station: Desertification usually happens whens there is a drought. Desertification has affects people because they aren't getting the food they need. I am curios about how this is going to affect more people in the future

Pike's Station: When the trees are being cut down is causing carbon dioxide and is destroying ecosystems. Deforestation is also harming animals because they don't have a habitat to live in. I learned that grass is not seen in New York and that is why they have central park. I also learned that factories kill grass and attracted people.

Acid rain is deforestation and creates pollution.
Brazil has deforestation in the Amazon rain forest and their trees are rapidly being killed. 


Nicks Station


Africa has deforestation in the forest because their trees are being cut down. Deforestation has caused less rainfall and it changes the temperature.

I learned that they burn trees in Africa to make into farm land. When they set the trees on fire i can burn a house on accident.

Urbanization causes pollution. To many people began to live in Tokyo so they had to kill plants and animals
