Yesterday brought the beginning, tomorrow brings the end, though somewhere in the middle we became the best of friends.

When someone, who takes an important place in your life, is moving away for good, your world is collapsing. Especially when this person is your best friend. Now you’re ready to move on to the next great phase of your life. So, to give you my most proper farewell, I am writing you this letter. 

To best describe you, I think you are smart, independent, and strong. You always want to achieve something greater in life and you are always ready for whatever hurdles that came in to your life. It is in your DNA to always help those in need and to be sincere and kind to everyone. You make such an inspiration to me and to many other people.

Hereupon, I want to thank you for everything you’ve given to me. From advice, experiences, leanings, and so on. I cannot express how thankful I am for all those wonderful things and I am sorry for cannot ever repaying your kindness. I am also sorry for everything that I do wrong to you.

Although our friendship is short and rather quick, it still is one of the thing I’m most grateful for here. I feel very lucky to have known you. Now, fate is taking you away and I just want to say I will miss you from the bottom of my heart. I am wishing you thousands of happiness, great success in life, and all the luck you need in the world. I will keep on supporting you on whatever circumstances may happen in the future, from far away here. I am sure that you will do great things in life and make everyone more proud of you. Farewell to you now, my friend. Yes, I am sad. Yes, I will surely miss you. But I know that you are going to be happy wherever you go and that thought makes me happy too. Goodbye, Dias. God Bless!

Sempat menyesal karena kalau aku kenal Dias lebih awal, aku bisa punya lebih banyak waktu bersama Dias. Tapi aku percaya, Tuhan mempertemukan kita dengan setiap orang di waktu yang tepat. Tidak butuh waktu lama untukku yakin kalau Dias adalah teman yang sangat baik dan penyayang. Lagipula, bukankah kualitas pertemanan tidak diukur dari lamanya waktu saling mengenal? Dias telah menjadi sahabat yang aku kagumi karena ia penuh semangat, tulus dalam membantu semua orang, dan selalu mengingatkanku dalam banyak hal. Aku sempat berharap kalau Dias bisa tinggal lebih lama setelah studinya selesai, namun Tuhan pasti sudah punya rencana yang terbaik untuk Dias. Dias pasti akan berada di tempat yang paling tepat untuk bisa meraih mimpi-mimpi yang Dias punya. Meskipun kita mungkin belum akan bertemu untuk waktu yang lama, doa dan komunikasi nggak akan pernah putus kan? Pesanku, Dias harus selalu berani mengejar apa yang Dias yakini baik untuk Dias. Selalu percaya diri ya, Yas, karena banyak orang yang sayang dan mendukung Dias. Terimakasih sudah menjadi salah satu teman baikku, partner 'dumb and dumber'ku, bahkan roommateku hehe. Semoga kebahagiaan selalu menyertai hidup Dias di manapun Dias berada. Aku selalu bangga dan sayang sama Dias ❤

Aku jadi keinget masa di awal aku ketemu Kakak. Kayaknya waktu itu aku ngeliat Kakak jadi orang yang kalem dan sopaan banget tapi semuanya berubah setelah ketemu beberapa kali sama Kakak. Ternyata kakak orangnya gahoel dan rameh sekaleh, ku tidak menyangka. Aku seneng banget bisa ketemu orang sepeduli dan sebaik kakak. Aku selalu berharap yang terbaik buat kakak terutama di Indonesia. Semoga kakak ada kesempatan buat ke Belanda lagi.
