Even though none of these art works are mine, I like to work with flowers. Because they are simpler to paint than people but you can still make the same emotions in a painting with flowers as you could with people. Flowers can by sad, happy, mad, etc. It all depends on how they look. I try and experiment with other things every once in a while. Landscapes, places, people, etc. But none of them I can understand more than my flower artworks. It's my strong suit. You can convey so much emotions in a painting just from something as simplistic as flowers. This isn't about any original character of mine, I desire to express an image of someone. I really hope the story of the subject to be seen as a whole instead of being reduced to their appearance. 
The artworks shown have this simplistic style that leads you into seeing the whole image instead of only focusing on the person. The usage of line, color, movement, and perspective is what I really admire in these pieces for telling a story. Most notable is how these pieces barely/not at all have facial expressions, they mainly rely on having the presence of a person (silhouettes). I find the silhouette/idea of a person to be the key point in my portfolio. Silhouettes help those look further into the piece to find more of the nature in the artwork.
