What It Means:
FDR is saying that truthful leadership is needed, and he has that leadership quality.

Trump: We are one nation – and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.

What It Means:
He will share his pain, dreams, and success with the Nation.

What It Means:
FDR is saying that America needs to focus on it's own economy and work to get itself out of this hole it's dug itself into, instead of trying to support other people when we can't support ourselves.

Trump:
"For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;

Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military;

We’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;

And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.

We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon."

What It Means:
These two quotes both mean basically the same thing, with FDR just saying it in fewer words. Trump is saying here that we have spent too much time and money building up other countries instead of our own. We need to focus on our own economy and distance ourselves from foreign affairs.

'Twas an allusion to the ways of the pioneering Americans.

What it Means:
Its an Allusion to the way the founding fathers and the farmers and everyone who basically started America was filled with with hope for the American spirit.

Trump:
"Together, We Will Make America Strong Again.

We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again.

And, Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again."

'Twas Repetition because he is saying "We Will Make America ______ Again." a bunch of times.

What it Means:
Trump is basically saying that America has taken a turn for the worst and he intends to fix it with teamwork and leadership.
