Most of the time we would go to Universal Studios, or Knott's Berry Farm and we would have a really fun time. However, last year in summer of 2020 we were planning our trip to California like we always do but  this time my dad said we were gonna have a cheaper trip since most of the attractions were closed because of covid. My dad said ‘’Don’t worry this trip is still gonna be fun because now this gives us a chance to see more of California's landscapes and towns more than seeing the crowded city and being in all the traffic’’. Me and my brother were a little bumbed because we were looking forward to going on the new ride at Universal Studios. On the day of the trip me and my brother had just finished packing our last minute things into our bag and we headed to the car once my dad had arrived home. As we head on the freeway I start thinking to myself if i'm actually gonna have a good time when we get to our destination  because I had a feeling that I was going to be so bored. Later, we were on the main rode we usually go on and we stopped at a rest area. As I was waiting for my family I started walking around and I noticed how there was a bunch of people holding cameras, taking pictures and looking at the view were there was mountains and trees. I started to look at the view in ah when, my dad and brother came and told us lets take a selfie so we did all smiling at the camera. After that we finished taking our picture and we headed back on the rode. 6 hours later we finally made it to California, got our hotel, ate dinner, chilled for a bit because the next day we were gonna start the day fresh. Next day we had breakfast, went to some stores, then my dad said we were headed to a Japanese garden. I was interested in what he said and then he explained to me how there’s a bunch of different kinds of flowers that we’ll be able to see. SO.. the garden was closed but I saw a squirrel :) Since, the garden was closed we wandered around the area and we saw the ocean. We decided to hike down some stairs to get a better view of the ocean and it looked so pretty. As I admired the view  I asked my dad if I can take a photo of him then my brother and later I decided to take some photos because I thought it looked to refreshing and I wanted to show my mom when I got home. About an hour later we headed back to the car, I checked my phone and noticed how I had a bunch of photos of the ocean and other stuff I saw. Then I realized how much I enjoyed taking pictures of many things and realized that you don’t need to always use money to have fun and that just taking out a camera can make you have fun :)
