respond to emergency breakdown call-outs which was quite a challenge.

I  will take my exam in May and after I  want to find a job in this company because there is a very good atmosphere. I hope there will be a job for me .

In my first year of my BTS, i did my intership in the company Francois Meunier, located at Caudan. It is a big company with many employees, they are four sites in Brittany, and customers all over the world. This is one of the largest company in Brittany specialised in naval maintenance and industrial

I found it difficult to find my work placement despite all the cover letters and résumés  I sent.  However  I managed to find one before the dateline through a relative.

So after the first contact with the boss for my placement i was interviewed before they agreed to give me a chance . 

 From a professional point of view, before finding my placement, i expected to work on a machine project with a team but eventually I had to work on my own. The workshop in Caudan features both a mechanical and a manufacturing area.

So during my internship I had to work on the design of a test bench of gearboxes for which I had to check the electrical part and design the mechanical part. So for this, I had to contact suppliers, which required  much responsibility . For the design of this project, I encountered several difficulties due to mechanical constraints, so it forced me several times, to start again  but everything came back in order. This internship allowed me to acquire a lot of knowledge about gearboxes and machine design, I also gained autonomy by working on my own and appreciated to be trusted by my boss.

I spent six weeks with the mechanical maintenance department. They had the responsibility to ensure the maintenance of the port(bearing), manage 8 cranes as well as all these infrastructures. I looked for this work placement by myself and I had a job interview which went well. I made a six-week unpaid placement from 16 Mai to 24 June 2016.

My working schedules were from 8 am till 12 am and from 1 pm till 5 pm.

This work placement has allowed me to enrich my experience. I worked on my own because the technicians were in training. During my work placement I had to make sure the forklift truck was safe.  My tutor was  the person in charge of the  maintenance.  The commercial harbour is used for  unloading ships with cranes. 

I enjoyed working with the other employees because they made me discover the manipulations of new machines, their reactions when they are in motion as well as the various working techniques. I think it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly.

I liked to work in the cranes because it is a nice system and the tasks are different and challenging..

The atmosphere was very nice because the employees are kind. 

My name is Hol, I am 19 years old, After my studies I want to find a job. I am in the second year of my vocational training course and I will take my exam in June. I worked with the company « Marama Nui » specializing in the production of renewable energy, It is located in Tahiti, French Polynesia. Since I was not getting any favourable reply to my applications, a member of my family offered to help me to find this placement. Before going to work for this company, I expected to have many difficulties but the contributions of the workplacement were numerous because I was truly immersed in the heart of the job.I was able to apply the knowledge acquired in practice and put it into practice in the project that was entrusted to me by my tutor who was a complete project, from conception to realization through programming.
