I took her concept as an inspiration my piece and the reason I replaced the dandelions with the corona virus particles is because it resembles why I am not smiling in my portrait and the earth behind me represents how covid is a worldwide thing and it has impacted the whole world. My facial expressions are similar to the one of Natalie Foss’s work, which shows that I am not happy about this pandemic

I am covering my face because it represent how depress people does not have a voice and that voice could not be heard. But they are able to see everything that is going on around them. That is why the eyes are open but the mouth are shut. (I could'nt find the colour that i wanted for the background and I couldnt get it in time so I just left it blank)

Although the face looks emotionless , but the feelings that he have on the inside can not be portrayed out . this shows that everyone is struggling from the inside but not able to show it out to anyone .

For me I think that a person closing their eyes means that they are letting ththeir guards down (letting everything go). What I'm trying to potray is me letting all the problems and issue melt away and dreaming and thinking in my own world leaving reality and living in my thoughts Up High. (eyes in the forehead suggest that my brain/mind is doing all the search and navigating). (The cloud indicating that I am up high).
