My name is Sinem Ahiçelebi, and I am an English teacher at Mustafakemalpaşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Bursa, Türkiye. I have been teaching English since 2010, and throughout these years I have gained valuable experience working with young learners. At the moment, I teach 14-year-old students whose English level is between A2 and B1.

As a teacher, I believe that learning a foreign language goes beyond grammar and vocabulary; it is also about discovering new cultures, building friendships, and developing communication skills. That is why I encourage my students to take part in eTwinning projects, where they can practice English in real contexts and collaborate with peers from different countries.

My students are highly motivated to improve their English, use technology effectively, and work in teams. They are eager to meet new friends, share their own culture, and learn about the traditions and lifestyles of others. For this reason, we decided to join the project “UNESCO – Tourism Friendship: Discovering Heritage Together.” This project is a great opportunity for us to explore cultural heritage, exchange ideas, and understand the importance of protecting traditions while connecting with the wider world.

We are truly enthusiastic about being part of this project and look forward to contributing actively. I believe that, by working together, we will achieve our goals and create meaningful experiences for both teachers and students.

My students,Kayra and Emrullah, prepared this video to introduce our country by using his A2-level English. He also received support from other members of our eTwinning club during the shooting. To edit the video, he used a program called CapCut to add some pictures and video clips.
