Some things I love about Science are the STEM activities we imbed into our standards. I am not a huge project person because I have a hard time with clutter. However, these activities are crucial to my students to help supplement the notes and the reading we do outside of the STEM activities. Something I do differently in Science is incorporate experts in our area. We have had Greystone Power some out to our class to help with my Electricity Unit. We have had Georgia Power come into our classrooms to teach about circuits and generators. We have had our Media Specialist do a States of Matter lab that was completely inquiry learning. All these experience enriched my students knowledge and was a lot of fun watching them discover on their own!
