         <description><![CDATA[<div>Who disrespected whos religion? The Chinese had foreigners at their doors trying to convert them to Christian faith. This shows how they don't deserve a bad rep because they had people telling them about how Christianity was a the supero religion in their own home. Getting hate and disrespect towards your own religion repedityly is a clear cause for a revolt. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The opium war caused crazy drug addictions and petty theft in China. This influenced the boxer rebellion because the Chinese were having their own country flooded with drugs, crime and conflict. The Chineses have no choice but to rebel against the foreigners and defend their land. Also the drug problem caused poverty rate to go up. During the opium war 70% of the Boxers were peasants. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Chinese had conditions that forced them into a rebellion and people misunderstand the real reasons the Boxer rebellion took action. In 1899 the rebellion to place but the terror for the Chinese started in 1839 with the opium war. In 1844 a treaty was signed in China witch aloud foreigners not condomed to Chinese laws and rules. Also the constant pressure to convert to Christian religion was brutal. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the chinese lost the opium war they signed a peace treaty in 1842 giving Britain the island of Hong Kong. Then after signing another treaty in 1844 the foreign citizens gained extraterritorial rights. Witch means they don't have to abide by Chinese laws and or rules.</div>]]></description>
