Most people find 10% of a number.
So 10% of 80 is.....8 (divide by 10).
You can then work out what 30% of a number is: 10% = 8, so 20% is 16 (2 x 8), 30% = 24 (3 x 8),
Show me what you can do below!

Well find 10% - then when you have worked that out, halve it = 5%. Add both numbers together.
So 15% of 40 is:
10% = 4
+
5% = 2
therefore 15% = 4 + 2 = 6

Show me what you can do below!
