         <description><![CDATA[<div>the Aztecs leader "Moctezuma,"&nbsp; cortes <mark>voyaged</mark> to south America&nbsp; and met with the Aztecs, the Aztecs&nbsp; tried to get him to leave by <mark>exchanging </mark>him gold. the Aztecs&nbsp; soon got mad and annoyed and forced the spaniards to flee. the Aztecs hated the native Americans. the Aztecs <mark>mercantilism</mark> that if they saw a eagle on top of a cactus near a lake, that meant that the Aztecs have to <mark>plantation</mark> and <mark>presidio</mark> there. the mayans lived in the tropical lowlands of what is now Guatemala. the mayans were very good at agriculture, pottery, writing, calendar-making&nbsp; and finally mathematics. they were also very good at building. the mayans <mark>allianced</mark> many gods related to nature, the sun, moon, rain and corn. the mayans <mark>hierarchy</mark> and human sacrifice to their religious ritual.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the Spanish <mark>conquistadors</mark> hated the Aztecs, especially cortes. cortes voyaged to south America and met with the Aztecs. the Aztecs also hated the Spanish <mark>conquistadors</mark>, so what the Aztecs did was they <mark>exchanging</mark> cortes gold, so that he would leave south America. but cortes didn't want to leave. the Spanish <mark>conquistadors</mark> always explored the place, they all hoped to find riches and glory for themselves and for Spain. cortes sailed from Cuba to Mexico with his 500 soldiers. the first native Americans he met showed him gifts of gold. as soon as when cortes <mark>voyaged</mark> to Tenochtilán, the native Americans went up to cortes and joined him. they always go conquered by the Aztecs. the native Americans always got <mark>colonized</mark> by the Aztecs.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mexico today have lots of holidays like cinco de mayo, day of the dead, and day of the Virgen of Guadalupe and many more. cinco de mayo commemorates the mexican army's unlikely victory over the french forces of Napoleon. the Mexicans celebrate the day of the dead of a time to honor the dead. includes festivals, parades, as well as <mark>colombian</mark> of families at cemeteries to pray for their deceased loved ones at the end of the day. Mexico is a very colorful place, lots of people dance around on the street. the most popular sport in Mexico is futbol, lots of people around the world love seeing futbol on tv. the most famous food to eat in Mexico are tacos, enchiladas, qesadias, and gorditas. there are lots of different Mexicans in Mexico, there is&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Good presentation - your colors and images really enhance this product.&nbsp; You did a great job showing the history of Mexico from early days to today along with specific examples/details such as the forces of Napoleon and the Mayan calendar. &nbsp;<br><br>Next time, be careful of your vocabulary word usage.&nbsp; Use Google to help you with their definitions.&nbsp; Don't break up words like "Colombian Exchange" and be sure the other words like alliance and hierarchy are used correctly.<br><br>Watch your capitalization - Aztec, Spanish, Cortez, etc all need to be capitalized because they are proper nouns.</div>]]></description>
