I enjoyed the challenge the measuring the horizon line to create the 3D shapes, however I did find it challenging in the first activities as I the concept was new to me. The interior drawing in the third activity was a challenge for me as I couldn’t get my angles right but after a few attempts I was happy with the end result. The process I took to overcome this obstacle was by re drawing my horizon line to be in the centre of my page and taking my ruler and slowly drawing the lines. Two-point perspective was a new concept to me and was hard at first to understand but one I did I enjoyed the activities. An obstacle I had to over some this week was activities 3, I found this activity challenging because getting the proportions correct was hard. I tried to overcome this by trying to get the two couches in the drawing similar but that also didn’t help. Drawing interiors is something that I want to get better at. The mediums to choose to work with this week was fine liner, pencil and pen as charcoal was too thick for me to work with on the lines. The activity I found most challenging this week was drawing the robot projection. I had to try this projection a number of times as I found it difficult to get the proportions correct. I overcome this obstacle by making my robot bigger on the page. I also think the proportions on the paper that I printed were too big and made it harder for me to make to projection small. I decided to draw this as I could use a dot work technique with fine liner pens. I’ve enjoyed this technique over the trimester and wanted to explore this technique more. Working with fine liner has been a challenged for me over the trimester but I’ve enjoyed working on my skills.  I chose this idea as I believed I could incorporated some of the principles of design into my work. I used unity and balance through the placement of the wings and emphasis on the body of the moth. My drawing skills have improved from my base level skills at the beginning of the trimester. I’m happy with my final two drawings as they show my growth as a drawer and my ability to draw intricate details. I’m the happiest with my drawing of the moth as I tested my patience and showed me that I can created good works. A challenge that I overcome throughout this trimester is comparing my work to other peoples, I overcome this through understanding that everybody is at different stages of their drawing journeys and I can get to where I want to be with practice and time. At first, I found it difficult to get my photo to show up dark in photoshop so I re did the lines on my drawing to make them bolder in order for them to work. I found it challenging to navigate photoshop at first, but I did some research to help me come to the end result.
