1. I have never conducted any type of formal research, but in the early days of the COVID-19 period, I did some research on when, where, and how COVID-19 occurred and what impact it will have on society in the future. I'm not usually interested in current affairs, but as social media was filled with the virus disaster called COVID-19, I felt like fear was approaching. We checked what measures were being taken in Wuhan, China, the initial source, and observed what policies were established in other countries where symptomatic cases appeared, and then took the time to predict in advance what policies would be established in Korea.

2. If other people write papers on the topic of my 1 and what measures to take in Korea to prevent COVID-19, and I want to maintain my thoughts, I think my value as a writer is still there. This is because my conclusion may also be the answer even in situations where the results are not clear. However, I think my value as a writer will improve if I acknowledge the consequences for others.

Recently, I read a paper on a qualitative case study on the operation method and participation structure of university classes that elicit student participation. This study conducted a qualitative multiple case study to examine the operation and interaction method of classes that promote student participation in the context of university education. This study collected data through participant observation and interviews over the course of one semester. The results of the study showed that learning through students’ participation in class increases the possibility of learning and that the role of the instructor is important in eliciting students’ participation in class.

There must be much previous research in the field I want to study.

I have never conducted any type of formal research. Recently, I search on internet. Chang Yong Lee, Governor of the Bank of Korea, said that irrational university entrance competition causes serious social problems. Research show the comparison of first-year middle school students, who are known to be less influenced by private education, and their university entrance exam scores. It showed students from the three Gangnam districts get much higher score than expected based on their potential. It means that university entrance exam scores do not reflect their talent and abilities but are just a result of private education. It was also found that students living in provincial areas received university entrance exam scores lower than their potential abilities. These phenomena have make the myth of invincible real estate prices in Seoul, placed a financial burden on households due to abnormal private education spending, and failed to discover talents in provincial areas. Quoting the phrase, 'Talent is everywhere,' he proposed alternative solutions.

Even if someone wrote or have a similar topic as mine, I think my ideas can show empirical research.

1) When I was in high school, I conducted a research on 'the current status of private education implementation by Jeonju citizens and the impact of private education on public education' at the Jeonbuk Youth Conference hosted by the Jeonbuk Office of Education. The data to be used in the research were conducted through face-to-face surveys and interviews targeting the population in teens to fifties, and 60% of the 200 participants said they experienced private education directly or were letting their children take private education. After that, based on the results of this survey, suggestions for strengthening public education and alleviating the burden of private education in the Jeonbuk region were discussed, and a report combining the previous survey results and these suggestions was submitted.

2) When trying to conduct research on a particular topic, it would be rather pleasing to have a previous study dealing with the same topic. Through previous research, major theories, concepts, and references related to the topic can be identified, and based on this, one's own research can be further specified. If an error occurs in the preceding study, additionally, a writer can avoid potential errors that may occur in one's own research by identifying the error in previous study. As a writer, however, what to consider is that it should be differentiated from previous studies dealing with the identical topic. Even on the same topic, new insights are needed in the way they approach it or suggesting the issue. In addition, it is necessary to set specific goals than existing studies and provide additional analysis and interpretation of one's own to maintain the originality of the research.

During my research, I found statistics showing that 97% of hospice nurses in Belgium believed euthanasia provided patients with a better death compared to natural death. This suggests that the legalization of euthanasia is seen as offering pain relief for students. Additionally, caregivers were shown to experience high levels of distress. Euthanasia remains a sensitive issue, with ongoing debates between supporters and opponents.

My value as a writer, even though others may already written on the same topic, comes from my personal experiences.

Yes, I did some research when I was a freshman in university. The class is linguistics, so the assignment is an essay related to some offensive expression. So we do some researches from different ways: firstly, we searched the data online about how many words are offensive and what kind of words are offensive. And then we conducted a questionnaire online posting on our social medias, everyone had the chance to answer the questions when they click it. So we got about 200 answers' sample, which makes the data convincible. Besides this, we also went to different places to ask passings-by our questions. No matter male or female, elder or young people, we asked different people's opinion towards our questions like:" Do you think 'crippple' is an offensive word?" or "What measures do you think we can take when someone using an offensive word accidentally?" And then we recorded some of their typical answers in the assay.

I think I will try to find different perspectives of the paper what I want to do, and try to come up with some innovative ideas, if there's something necessary to be overlapped, I will quote the previous writer's paper if it's useful.

1.When I was in high school, I did a mock conference where the big topic was how to address contemporary societal challenges. My research within that was the association between childhood abuse experiences and adolescent deviant behavior. I conducted my research by referring to other studies and public websites. I thought that child abuse is a big problem in itself, but if it is not solved properly, it can spread to a bigger social problem, so it needs a lot of attention and education.

2.The unique value I think is how long I've been interested in this research, and I think that love will show if you do research on a problem that you've been interested in for a long time, rather than something you're immediately thinking about. I think you'll be able to show what you've learned from researching something that you've been curious about for a long time, and what you're thinking more deeply about how to do it.

Among the report contents, the body-based treatment method called mirror therapy with face-to-face was the most memorable.

Although the subject may be the same, I think there will be a completely different content of writing because the content of how to solve the subject and the source used to write the report cannot all be the same.

When I taking a course about debating for middle~high school students, I conducted research about abortion. At the time, we took turns debating both the pros and cons, so I researched both sides of the argument. In the position supporting abortion, I focused on researching the health of the mother, and for anticipated counterarguments, I prepared points regarding respect for the fetus’s life. When I took the opposing stance, I reversed the original arguments and anticipated rebuttals.

I think the value lies in compiling the papers that have been written so far. Naturally, there are papers with similar perspectives or topics. However, even just collecting and comparing these works is meaningful. Known for her novel The Vegetarian, Han Kang has received international recognition for her unique storytelling and deep themes that explore human nature and suffering. It motivates me to learn more about Korean literature and culture, knowing that it has such a powerful impact internationally.

Even if others have already written about my topic, I believe my perspective still adds unique value.

I have investigated simple pros and cons or cause-effects, but I have never conducted any official research. With the recent increase in divorce TV programs, I have wondered how much the divorce rate is on the rise and what is the main cause of divorce. So I researched various data related to divorce. According to the OECD's data, "Society at a glance 2019," Korea ranked 9th among OECD member countries and 1st in Asia. Korea's divorce rate is especially serious when considering the population. In addition, according to Korean national statistics, the divorce rate in Seoul remains at around 30 percent, but the divorce rate in North Jeolla Province, South Gyeongsang Province, and North Gyeongsang Province is over 60 percent. These results mean that the divorce rate in Korea is over 50 percent.

There are many papers on divorce at the moment. However, I would like to maintain this topic because I am interested in divorce. To make this topic special, I will deal with the social aspects of divorce. I will deal with how the view toward divorce has changed over time, and the rate of divorce that has been caused by it. I will also deal with the disparities in divorce rates caused by differences in legal proceedings.

1.I have researched focusing on the impact of social media on mental health, particularly how various platforms influence anxiety and depression among teenagers. This topic is increasingly relevant, given the significant rise in social media usage among adolescents.

To start, I defined the scope of my research by identifying key social media platforms, such as Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, and their prevalent use among teenagers. I then reviewed existing literature, which included academic studies, articles, and surveys that examined the correlation between social media engagement and mental health outcomes.

One aspect I investigated was the phenomenon of social comparison, where teenagers often compare their lives to the curated images and posts of their peers, leading to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem. I also explored the role of cyberbullying, noting how negative interactions online can exacerbate feelings of anxiety and depression.

Additionally, I analyzed surveys that measured the frequency of social media use and its relationship with reported mental health issues. Many studies indicated that excessive use—especially passive consumption, like scrolling without engagement—was linked to higher levels of anxiety and depressive symptoms.

In my conclusion, I emphasized the importance of promoting healthy social media habits and encouraging open conversations about mental health among teenagers. By synthesizing this information, I aimed to provide a comprehensive overview that could inform parents, educators, and policymakers about the complexities of social media’s impact on youth mental health.

2.	If I discovered that others had written on the same topic, I would still find value as a writer by offering a unique perspective or angle. I could contribute fresh insights, incorporate new data, or address gaps in existing research. Additionally, my voice and interpretation can resonate differently with readers, making my work relevant and valuable in the ongoing conversation about the topic.

There are contents that I researched as follows: 1.Korea has 2.4 doctors per 1,000 people, lower than the OECD average of 3.5.

When i was in high school, I conducted a research with my team on ‘the level of stress and mental health of current high school students. We used Google Form to investigate 300 students on our high school and 200 from other school. The biggest stressors were study and school life, followed by environmental problems, self-problems, family problems and interpersonal relationships. In addition, we conducted a simple psychiatric examination, and about 20% of students answered that they had a problem with more than one of the nine symptoms. Students with a high stress index also had mental health problems. After obtaining these results, we concluded the study by students’ stress and a program linking expert counseling.

Before conducting the study, we had already looked at several data on similar topics. We were able to perform a simple psychiatric test by looking for various data, and we were able to proceed with more specific topics. However, I was a high school student at that time, and our study was too shallow. To the question that had to ask the biggest stressor, we made a mistake of adding a multiple choice option, so it was ambiguous to rank the stressors. In addition, it was difficult to accurately compare what it was like for male students and business students because the proportion of the same number of students among the respondents was larger. I think that the professionalism was poor compared to other writers and the group classification was not clearly performed. If I want to maintain my thesis, I think I should evenly recruit students from more diverse environments and investigate through a more detailed questionnaire. Or, I think it will be a way to maintain my thesis by researching detailed groups and writing different papers from others.
