In order to help make the concept of want vs. need more concrete for the kids, we played our version of Super Market Sweep. Families were able to choose a canvas or plastic bag to carry the goods. All families chose canvas bags since they are better for the environment. A timer was set for two minutes, and families raced to shop for $25 worth of groceries. Whoever was the closest, was declared the winner for the evening!
