Please note that the JMD 50,000 wedding planning fee covers WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES ONLY —including consultations, vendor selection, coordination, timeline creation, and day-of coordination. This fee does NOT include the overall cost of the wedding, which will depend on venue, vendors, and additional services. A full wedding budget will be established after booking and will be managed separately from the planning fee.

At Dream Trail Getaway, we make wedding planning simple and stress-free with an easy payment structure. The following outlines the payment plan for securing my full-service wedding planning:

• TOTAL Wedding Planning Fee:

JMD 50,000

• Initial Deposit:

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of JMD 25,000 is required to secure your booking and begin the planning process. This deposit is due at the time of booking.

• Remaining Balance:

The remaining balance of JMD 25,000 is due TWO months (depending on your wedding date) before the wedding day.

Payments should be made via bank transfer. The details will be communicated to you via email or text.

This payment structure allows you to secure my services with ease, while also providing flexibility in how payments are managed. After booking, we’ll establish a full wedding budget and begin planning the perfect wedding tailored to your needs.

1. General Terms

1.1 What these terms cover: These are the terms and conditions under which Dream Trail Getaway will supply services to you, the client. Please read them carefully before entering into a contract with Dream Trail Getaway. These terms outline the services provided, payment details, cancellation policies, and other important information. If you believe there is an error in the terms, please contact us for clarification.

1.2 Business Hours: Dream Trail Getaway operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Any communication outside these hours will be addressed during the next working day.

2. Wedding Planning Services

2.1 Appointment Cancellations:

• The Wedding Planner requires 48 hours’ notice to cancel face-to-face appointments and 1 hour’s notice to cancel virtual appointments. Dream Trail Getaway will attempt to accommodate rescheduled appointments with shorter notice when possible.

2.2 Deviations and Adjustments: The Wedding Planner has the discretion to deviate from the originally agreed-upon services when deemed necessary based on circumstances such as weather conditions, vendor performance, or changes requested by the clients. Adjustments will be made based on the situation, time limitations, and/or the Clients’ wishes.

2.3 Vendor Responsibility: Dream Trail Getaway acts as an intermediary between the Clients and wedding vendors. We do not assume responsibility for the performance or products of any third-party suppliers, nor are we liable for any delays or failures in services provided by them. The client holds the responsibility for any vendor-related issues or delays.

2.4 Document and Service Delays: Dream Trail Getaway is not responsible for any delays caused by authorities in processing necessary documents or any issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documents provided by the client or authorities.

2.5 Acts of Nature: Dream Trail Getaway will not be held responsible for any delays or cancellations due to natural disasters or any circumstances outside of our control, including weather, fire, or other unforeseeable events.

2.6 Illness or Unavailability of Planner: If the Wedding Planner is unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will attempt to find a suitable substitute. If we are unable to do so, the client agrees that no further compensation will be owed beyond what has already been paid.

2.7 Accuracy of Information: The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided to Dream Trail Getaway is accurate. Dream Trail Getaway is not liable for any issues arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client.

2.8 Client Liability: The client agrees to indemnify and hold Dream Trail Getaway harmless from any legal actions or damages arising from the client’s failure to meet their obligations under this agreement, including but not limited to the cost of legal action, debt collection, and damages.

3. Payment and Cancellation Terms

3.1 Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, which secures the event planning services. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed schedule. If the event is canceled by the client, a $5,000 cancellation fee will apply in addition to the deposit already paid.

3.2 Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by the client, the following fees will apply:

• The deposit is non-refundable.

• An additional $5,000 cancellation fee will apply if canceled within 30 days of the scheduled event date.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Confidentiality and Ownership: All wedding concepts, including floor plans, proposals, budgeting templates, vendor lists, and other materials created by Dream Trail Getaway remain the intellectual property of Dream Trail Getaway. Clients may not sell, forward, or share these concepts with third parties without prior written consent.

4.2 Use of Content: The client may not implement or use any wedding concepts, ideas, or documents provided by Dream Trail Getaway without paying the agreed-upon service fee or without written consent from Dream Trail Getaway.

4.3 Confidentiality of Data: Dream Trail Getaway ensures that all data gathered from the clients during the contract period is stored confidentially and not shared with third parties.

5. Vendor Relations and Payments

5.1 Third-Party Vendors: Dream Trail Getaway does not accept commissions from any recommended vendors. We cannot guarantee the performance or product quality of third-party vendors.

5.2 Direct Payments: Clients are responsible for making payments directly to vendors, and Dream Trail Getaway is not involved in handling payments to third-party service providers. We will provide the necessary contracts and invoices for your review.

5.3 Vendor Performance: Dream Trail Getaway will assist in managing vendor relations, but we are not responsible for the actual performance or service provided by the vendors. Any disputes must be resolved directly with the vendor.

6. Damage and Loss

6.1 Liability for Damage: Dream Trail Getaway is not responsible for any damage or loss of merchandise, equipment, clothing, or other valuables before, during, or after the event. We will not be liable for any loss unless it is directly caused by the negligent actions of Dream Trail Getaway.

7. Unlawful Activity and Compliance

7.1 Compliance with Laws: Clients agree to comply with all local laws, health and safety requirements, and lawful orders issued by police or fire services during the event.

7.2 Event Cancellations: If unlawful activities take place during the event and it is canceled as a result, no refund will be issued by Dream Trail Getaway.

8. Changes and Amendments

8.1 Amendments to the Agreement: Any changes to the contract must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties no later than 14 days before the event. Any changes will be incorporated into the agreement and will have the same legal effect.

8.2 Event Date Change: If the client wishes to change the event date, Dream Trail Getaway will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the change. However, a change of date will be considered a cancellation and new fees may apply.

9. Force Majeure

Dream Trail Getaway will not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to government intervention, natural disasters, civil disturbances, strikes, or other unforeseen events.

10. Event Requirements

10.1 Legal Requirements: The client is responsible for ensuring that all civil and religious requirements for the wedding are met, including the submission of necessary documents and applications to the authorities.

10.2 Client Responsibilities: The client must provide all relevant information regarding special conditions or requirements for guests or the wedding itself.

Our wedding planning services are priced at 50,000 JMD. This fee covers all planning and coordination services from start to finish. 3. Do you provide travel arrangements for guests or the couple?

Yes, Dream Trail Getaway can plan activities for your guests, including excursions, group events, and other activities that complement the wedding experience.

7. Do I have to pay for everything upfront?

Yes, Dream Trail Getaway will be your primary point of contact for all vendors. However, please note that all payments for vendors should be made directly by the couple. We will coordinate and manage communications with the vendors on your behalf.

We will work with you to ensure your wedding is as private or public as you desire. If you’re planning an intimate wedding, we will ensure the venue and vendor services cater to that.
