This goes to show that not only were these people building up unneeded hysteria they were causing people to develop anxiety and have panic attacks, which they called "bewitchment". The hysteria spread like wildfire and people who possibly didn't know the accused were accusing them of bewitchment and affliction on towards other people. Using Document B we explained that the hysteria caused more people to be anxious and draw up more hysteria as the accused started to be executed. With Document C we explained that with the air of seriousness surrounding the trials helped to create and spread the hysteria leading to more anxiety. Furthermore using Document I, we explained that the hysteria spread to the other side of town; which shows that the hysteria was not confined to one part of Salem, but spread to another part of town where most of the accusings came from. Finally, with Document H, we explained that the people of Salem were fabricating very much unneeded hysteria causing people to develop anxiety and have panic attacks which they passed off as bewitchment.
