Supplì alla romana: one of antipasti (starters) is more typical. It's a kind of croquette stuffed with cooked rice, tomato, meat and mozzarella cheese. Curiously, the word, supplì is derived from the French surprise by surprise causing the filling to the bite, and are also called supplì telephone by the thread of mozzarella that is formed when you open it and that recalls a phone cable.
