Since ancient times, man has always been fascinated by the observation of the sky. The course Navigation Through the Ages allows us to take a trip through the history of Greece, meet the explorers of the Fifteenth Century and see how the Galileo satellite program has been very important for the citizens of this planet.

This course is based on the pedagogical foundations of the Space Awareness MOOC project, taking advantage of information technologies and good classroom practices.

This course focuses on 4 topics:

4. The Galileo European Satellite System

This course Navigating Through the Ages is produced by two strategic partners: Interactive Nucleus of Astronomy and European Schoolnet and with the support of many partners.

GENERAL DATA OF THE COURSE

Duration and Charge: 4 weeks, started on February 20, 2017 with a module 0 and ends on April 2, 2017. In total there are 5 modules with a load per week of dedication of 2 to 5 hours. They contain reflection and discussion activities and each module is finalized with an evaluation.

Discussions and Exchanges: To share questions and opinions you should use the social networks, the FAQ section and the forum.
