  • The members of the cabinet were :
  • Henry Knox, who helped provide defenses for the country. 
  • There was Alexander Hamilton, who was a secretary of treasury. The secretary of treasury  manages the nations money.
  • Thomas Jefferson was the head of the State Department, who handled the relationships with other countries.
  • And there was Edmund Randolph who was the attorney general. The attorney general was basically just the lawyer for the government.
