For the past couple of years, my parents had gotten very busy with their jobs. Because of that, the responsibility of watching over my little brother has been passed down to me. I had to babysit him any time I could. I spent many of my weekends with him. It took up many of my weekends and breaks. I couldn't stand being home for the whole day alone with a four year old. Even though I never wanted to, I always caved into what my parents wanted. In the end, it made me and my brother´s bond stronger.
--------------------------------------------------------
The theme is related to this because I didn't realize that this was a good thing and without it, my brother and I couldn't be closer. I never noticed that if I wasn't spending this much time with him, I wouldn't be as appreciative of him for being in my life.

In 2016, my dad opened his own Vietnamese, sandwich shop. Since it was small and new, he didn't have many employees. Instead, he asked me and my siblings to help out on Saturdays. Another reason my dad would ask us to come down would be to get to know the place and get used to it. I would be there to help make orders, cook, or spend time with my dad. I never wanted to go because I was lazy and wanted to spend my weekends at home. Now, one of my hobbies are baking and cooking. To this day, I still go over and help him out with the business.
--------------------------------------------------------
To link back to the theme, I had gotten a new passion through a hidden opportunity of spending time at my dad's shop. I didn't just get another hobby out of this, but I was always to bond my dad and family.

In the third grade, I was forced to share a room with my older sister, who back then was in the seventh grade, would share a room. I loved the idea, but the last thing my sister wanted was to share a room with me. As time passed, my sister and I had grown passed the fact of sharing a room and gotten used to each other. A year passed and by then, we would be at each other's throats. We couldn´t share a room for another second. Arguments would stir up almost everyday. Though the fights showed how we felt.
-----------------------------------------------------
Through the constant fighting and hatred, we grew closer and love each other. After time passed, I could see how much I needed my sister. Sharing a room with my sister was something I don't want to go through again, but without it our bond wouldn't be as strong.
