Student scores are not reflective of what is being seen in class so it may mean students need to be provided strategies and additional opportunities to test successfully. Teachers should continue to push test taking skill strategies.

Teachers need to incorporate ACT aligned skills and techniques that will equip students to be successful in applying those skills in the curriculum and on the test.

Grade level teams can create study schedules that will help students create consistent, structured study plans that include practice tests, review sessions, and dedicated time for studying core concepts outside of the classroom. Students must be willing to use these schedules to help themselves.
