         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What other molecules in a patient’s blood are monitored along with LDL and HDL?</strong></div><div>Total cholesterol and triglycerides- a type of fat the body uses to store and give energy to muscles.</div><div><strong><br>What do the results of a cholesterol test mean? How do patients interpret each value?<br></strong><br></div><div><br>It determines the risk that the patient is at for a heart attack.
