The human being enjoys a unique quality in the world based on value and respect for the other, dignity, when we think about this quality we dimension aspects that contribute to healthy coexistence among people belonging to a society. The following project takes into account the relationship between intercultural communication and dignity according to the phenomenon called flexibility.

flexibility is an essential characteristic to adapt to other ways of seeing life and perceiving reality, it allows us to open our panorama to do new things based on new cultural practices.

taking this into account, we want to highlight the importance of how to adopt these new cultural practices since they can impact or even violate the ethical and moral values of a person who is subject to the dynamics of intercultural relationships.

However, we must be honest and take a critical position to differentiate our cultural bias from our prejudices, since what we could perceive as unpleasant or reprehensible should not really be, there is the possibility that it is the reflection of our prejudices and it more appropriate to learn and to tolerate other ways of perceiving life.

Of course, what must be clear is that our actions have to be in line with respect for the dignity of human beings and avoid all kinds of abuse or promotion of reprehensible conduct that undermine human dignity.

You topic of choice seems pretty promising, but I think you need to position it from a particular case that you can study to make it comprehensible and exemplify your ideas. I like the way you commit to support your views. On the other hand, honestly, I was expecting some more development of your ideas after some weeks when I checked this Padlet. From now and on, try your best to be documenting yourp roject here and updating your Padlet.

Interculturality Day
Interculturality is being recognized worldwide, an example of this is that the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Ecuador declared intercultural day there. With the main purpose to strengthen national unity in diversity, promoting dialogue between cultures and knowledge, in order to strengthen the construction of a fair, democratic, and plurinational State.

Within the Ecuadorian perspective, it is seen how they promote intercultural values, respect, and training towards other cultures that have not been given the prominence they deserve. The Day of Interculturality seeks to leave behind the exclusionary practices that made cultures such as indigenous, Afro-Ecuadorian, and Montubias invisible, through a racist discourse that promulgated discrimination and ethnic-cultural exclusion.
The struggle for interculturality is demonstrated by the Plan for the fight against racism and discrimination, the observance of which is the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage.

The importance of otherness in intercultural communication.

Experience teaches us that the darkest episodes in human history have emerged when other people have been dehumanized, but it also teaches us that we can overcome intolerance and discrimination when we empathize with peoples and cultures different from our own.

Getting to interact with other cultures has never been an easy process, this takes time and requires understanding the dimension of human needs as global, which crossing racial, cultural, and religious borders.

The best way to understand other cultures and recognize them as our equals is through history because in this way we can understand the evolution of civilizations and we can see ourselves in the mirror of our own experience.

For this reason, an ethical intercultural communicator must be involved in knowing the cultural context to develop the ability to empathize with others, in this way we learn the concept of otherness.
